The FASTPITCH Connected Car Expo Winners were announced today at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Contenders included “RodeDog” which barks like a dog, when users try to unlock their smartphones whilst on the road and “Trucker Path”, an app for truck drivers that offers Weight Station and Truck Stop information, locations, reviews, directions and pin point map locations. But the winner was “Estify” a system designed for the crash and repair industry that streamlines the process. EstifyTransfer imports estimate data into the current estimating platforms, EstifyReconcile combines these multiple estimates in a split second for a total repair cost and EstifyParts electronically sends the parts lists to many providers simultaneously for the best prices for parts. The prize to the winner was a Splunk Start Program Enterprise License including Splunk education, marketing and support teams with a value of $40,000.
