Connected World Magazine announced its 2014 Connected Car of the Year winners at the Chicago Auto Show, today. The Connected Car of the Year vehicles were evaluated at all price levels, ranging from the small and midsize, to the luxury and ultra-luxury sedan-style categories, although SUVs were not evaluated for this year’s awards.
Connected World Magazine editorial director, Peggy Smedley presented the awards saying that “We are pleased to recognize the best that in-vehicle technology has to offer in infotainment, convenience, safety, and green technologies. As the industry continues to improve through technology the real beneficiaries will be all the buyers of automobiles,”
The winners for the 2014 Connected Car of the Year are as follows:
Small – Dodge Dart; packed with information and entertainment technology, all delivered in a manner that promotes a distraction-free environment. The Chrysler Uconnect infotainment system is the centerpiece to the in-vehicle experience.
